Ruby Kanja

Ruby is a dynamic and dedicated Strategic Partnerships Officer with a passion for transforming the African educational landscape through technology. Known for being an outgoing and eloquent communicator, she excels at building high-impact relationships with institutional leaders and is driven by a mission to bridge the digital gap in African institutions.
With a steadfast commitment to Africa, she specializes in elevating institutional profiles by implementing Angaza’s 21st-century applied digital literacy curriculum. Ruby believes that we all deserve more than just a certificate, we need the actual skills to create, lead, and solve problems in a digital world, Her approach is rooted in partnership, working closely with Directors to ensure that technology becomes a seamless and empowering part of Africa’s identity by engaging students and staff with our Applied Digital Literacy Curriculum.
Over the years, she has developed a love for children and is often participating in giving back forums. Angaza’s mission to help young boys and girls in rural African schools highly resonates with her and she feels very proud to be part of the good work we do. She is positive we will meet our 50% digital literacy target in rural African secondary schools by 2035
Outside the office, you might bump into her on the track, running allows her to reset and think through ideas that would not surface if she was behind a desk.
