Young Change Makers – A Shinning Spirit of Inspiration
We are thrilled to share some incredible news with you! Thanks to your steadfast support and generosity, we have successfully raised an astounding amount of $7,658 through the Kilometers for Africa fundraiser organized by high school students in our Partner Schools – Stevenson High School, Lexington High School, North Creek High School and Vernon Hills High School. This achievement is a testament to the power of youth in making change.
But our journey doesn’t end here. In fact, it’s just the beginning of even greater endeavors. Inspired by the spirit of the 2024 International Women’s Day, Angaza Center, in collaboration with remarkable women from diverse professions, organized an all-women-led “Angaza Talk“ at our member school, ABC Iuani Secondary School, in Makueni County.
Themed “Unleashing Creativity and Harnessing Opportunities,” this talk was an enlightening experience for our students. They had the privilege of receiving professional advice, gaining insights, sharing experiences, and receiving mentorship on a wide range of topics. From career development and managing internal conflicts to navigating the transition from secondary school to universities, embracing challenges, and understanding the importance of digital literacy, our students were equipped with invaluable knowledge and guidance.
At Angaza Center, it is our unwavering commitment to empower students in our Member Schools academically, socially, and economically through our various initiatives. We are immensely grateful to our esteemed facilitators for their selfless dedication and the invaluable gift of their time spent inspiring our students.
Thank you for being an integral part of the Angaza Center community, where together, we can achieve extraordinary things.
With Utmost Gratitude,
Your Dedicated Angaza Center Team
