Weβre thrilled to announce our partnership with St. Thomas More Butare Secondary School in western Ugandaβs Buhweju District! πΊπ¬Home to over 600 students and 42 staff members, this government-supported, mixed, day and boarding school is buzzing with potential.
Weβre launching a state-of-the-art digital literacy training center at the school! This initiative will empower students, teachers, and the community with vital digital skills, driving academic, social, and economic excellence.This marks our first-ever digital literacy program in rural Ugandan secondary schoolsβa milestone weβre proud to celebrate.

Our recent member schools’ assessment visit to Rwanda, the breathtaking Land of a Thousand Hills, was a resounding success!
During this visit, we engaged with secondary schools in Kamuhoza, Kinoni, and Gakenke, marking a significant step forward in establishing digital literacy centers. These centers will empower students and school stakeholders with critical digital skills to foster academic excellence and community growth. π»
A special shoutout to Starkmacher Impact and the Catholic Diocese of Ruhengeri for their unwavering support, making this visit not only impactful but also truly memorable.
